This warmth was familiar.
You snuggled closer to the boy sitting beside you, a certain red-haired, competitive, shark-toothed teen whose warmth and presence was strong and smelled like chlorine and something else you couldn’t quite put your finger on. But it was familiar, so you nuzzled your forehead further into your boyfriend’s neck. You liked his smell. A light breeze blew, ruffling your hair and the green tie around your collar. If only it could stay like this forever.
The two of you were sitting quietly together under a tree in the courtyard of Iwatobi High School. The final bell had rung hours ago, but you still waited for

The soft rays of the setting sun spread in the classroom, the pungent smell of rubbing alcohol filling your nostrils, and the low hisses escaping your slightly wounded boyfriend's lips entering your ears. Your fingers would tenderly clean the several small wounds on his face, a worried look adorning your features. You knew deep down that the cuts on his face were not ultimately dangerous, but seeing the blood made you freak out a bit. Maybe more than a bit.
"How many times do I have to say it to convince you to get sports glasses, Tsukki? What I've feared actually happened," you sighed, fumbling through the first-aid kit for mor

When someone phones your house at two in the morning, that someone won't be telling you something you like.
You knew this to be a fact Which was why you contemplated letting the call go to the answering machine. You had been in the middle of a nice, restful slumber when that damn shrill ringing woke you. Even if you did pick up the call, you would sound far too grouchy to make any civil conversation.
Don't answer you repeated in your head, like a mantra. Don't answer. Don't answer. Don't answer.
But, when your imagination led you to thi

You stared longingly at the large bed in front of you. It was so big. Depressingly so when you had to sleep in it by yourself. Alfred had to attend another World Conference, leaving you alone in his large house. You thought that you would enjoy this time, but instead, you missed him more than ever. It wasn't the same here without Alfred's smiling face and excitement. And he had only been gone for two nights! You had another two nights to go before his return. And you hated how much you missed him.
"Keep the outside lights on at night... and don't forget to lock the doors!" he said an

It wasn’t as if you were an antisocial person. In fact, it was quite the opposite. But no human being can go on talking forever, can they?
But of all times for the words not to come, why did it have to be now?
A ghost of a sigh parted your lips, and you glanced around the Shutoku basketball team’s locker room. At the moment, you would’ve been grateful for even a clock to stir up some noise in the tense atmosphere. There were only five minutes before the match would start, and Midorima insisted on staying inside to gather his thoughts. After shooing Takao away, you were the only person left. Technically you weren’t ev

"Stupid Arthur " you grumbled to yourself, taking another swig of your drink, effectively finishing your 4th beer. " And that stupid, freakin' police force, I tell ya *hic* now, they've stolen my best friend!"
Sighing, you crossed your arms on the bar and nestled your head in comfortably. When you felt someone gently tap you on the shoulder you looked up to see Mathias, a regular at the pub, grinning down at you.
"Hey _____," he said, cheerfully running a hand through his sexy gelled up blonde hair. "Where's Sergeant Bushy-Brows?"
You scoffed at the mention of Arthur and straightened up on your s
